Title: Management Accountant
Location: Wrexham
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE

Fast-forward two decades and what started as a single, dedicated PA (who’s still with us today) looking after calls for a handful of local clients, is now a 1000-strong team working across two continents from our state-of-the-art UK headquarters in Wrexham, and our US office in Atlanta.
The role:
As a Management Accountant you will take ownership of preparing management accounts for individual group entities and work closely across the finance team to help streamline processes and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also support the wider business by providing clear, insightful financial analysis that helps inform decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts accurately and on time
- Post month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register
- Produce month-end and ad hoc reports, including variance analysis and clear commentary
- Monitor business performance against budget and forecast
- Support the preparation of the monthly board pack
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, working closely with teams across the business to gather inputs
- Build strong internal relationships by supporting departments with expenditure management
- Manage external relationships, including liaising with external auditors on queries and sample requests, and ensuring timely responses to National Statistics enquiries
- Carry out general duties in line with company policies and procedures, along with other reasonable tasks as required
The person:
- Qualified accountant with experience in preparing management accounts
- Strong IT skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing business needs
- Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable
