Job Description

Title: Learning & Development Trainer
Location: Wrexham
Hours: 39.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement to work evenings & weekends

What we do:

We’re the leaders in outsourced calls, live chat and more, delivering brilliant conversations on behalf of businesses of all sizes. Fast-forward two decades and what started as a single, dedicated PA (who’s still with us today) looking after calls for a handful of local clients, is now a 1000-strong team working across continents from our state-of-the-art UK headquarters in Wrexham, and our US office in Atlanta.

The role:

Are you passionate about people, personal growth, and helping others reach their full potential? Do you love inspiring others to succeed and want to play a key role in shaping the next generation of brilliant PAs? If so, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

As a Trainer, you’ll play a key role in developing our PAs – helping them build confidence, refine skills, and deliver the outstanding service our customers love. This isn’t just about delivering training sessions – it’s about creating an engaging, supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive.

You’ll also help administer and manage our Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing the creation, delivery, and maintenance of engaging digital learning content. With your keen eye for detail and proactive approach, you’ll ensure our people have seamless access to high-quality learning materials that make a real difference.

From onboarding new starters to upskilling experienced team members, you’ll play a key part in making sure every interaction reflects our brand trustmarks.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the first 2/3 weeks of training for new PAs, ensuring an energetic, positive start to their Moneypenny experience.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide meaningful feedback to help individuals perform at their best.
  • Design and deliver engaging, interactive training sessions for all learning styles – both in-person and online – while continuously improving the learning experience.
  • Support the 6-month “newbie journey”, keeping all training content, materials, and records accurate and up to date.
  • Deliver refresher sessions, product updates, and workshops for our experienced PAs.
  • Maintain detailed training records, share insights and progress updates, and ensure materials align with our brand standards.
  • Oversee and maintain the LMS, ensuring accurate data, timely updates, and smooth functionality; liaise with our third-party provider for improvements and communications.
  • Monitor training compliance, generate detailed reports for leadership, and ensure timely renewals of certifications and mandatory training.
  • Use data insights to identify trends and recommend improvements to learning and performance outcomes.

The person:

  • You’re passionate about people development and love motivating others to be their best.
  • Confident, approachable, and full of positive energy.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with a genuine love for helping others succeed.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to adapt your style to suit any audience.
  • Comfortable multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in designing and delivering blended learning solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Able to adapt to new technologies and digital learning tools; experience with authoring software is advantageous.
  • Skilled in reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting system issues.

What’s included:

As a Learning & Development Trainer at our award-winning headquarters in Wrexham, you’ll enjoy welcoming, spacious, state-of-the-art offices, plus communal spaces including a treehouse – we like to do things differently around here! You’ll also benefit from:

  • Permanent contract
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
  • Mental health support (through our Employee Assistant Programme) with access to an on-site mental health counsellor
  • Access to our wellbeing room to help enhance your physical and mental wellbeing
  • Access to a 24/7 doctor line
  • Subsidised meals
  • Free on-site gym access
  • And did we mention our epic parties? We know how to celebrate in style!
