Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Wrexham

Fast-forward two decades and what started as a single, dedicated PA (who’s still with us today) looking after calls for a handful of local clients, is now a 1000-strong team working across two continents from our state-of-the-art UK headquarters in Wrexham, and our US office in Atlanta.
The role:
As an Accounts Assistant at Moneypenny, you will have a varied role where you will be responsible for day-to-day transactional accounts duties including accounts payable, invoicing, bank reconciliations and credit control. There are a number of entities in the Moneypenny group across UK and US and in this role you will be required to provide flexible support across these entities as needed.
Key responsibilities:
- Supplier invoice processing
- Preparing weekly payment runs
- Daily Bank reconciliation
- Direct Debit collections
- Credit card expense processing
- Credit control
- Setting up new clients
- Processing client terminations, credits and scheme changes
- General support on client invoicing
The person:
- AAT PQ/Qualified or has previous, evidenced experience of working in a similar role
- Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable
- Manages time effectively to provide flexible support as part of a transactional finance team
- Demonstrates highly professional written and verbal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
- Cool, calm, and collected in the face of challenge or pressure and can move from task to task with ease, prioritising as required
- Self-motivated and uses own initiative to solve problems
- A team player, always ready to get stuck in and help, but equally happy working independently
