Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Wrexham

The role:

As an Accounts Assistant at Moneypenny, you will have a varied role where you will be responsible for day-to-day transactional accounts duties including accounts payable, invoicing, bank reconciliations and credit control. There are a number of entities in the Moneypenny group across UK and US and in this role you will be required to provide flexible support across these entities as needed.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Preparing weekly payment runs
  • Daily Bank reconciliation
  • Direct Debit collections
  • Credit card expense processing
  • Credit control
  • Setting up new clients
  • Processing client terminations, credits and scheme changes
  • General support on client invoicing

The person:

  • AAT PQ/Qualified or has previous, evidenced experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience with Sage Intacct is desirable
  • Manages time effectively to provide flexible support as part of a transactional finance team
  • Demonstrates highly professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • Cool, calm, and collected in the face of challenge or pressure and can move from task to task with ease, prioritising as required
  • Self-motivated and uses own initiative to solve problems
  • A team player, always ready to get stuck in and help, but equally happy working independently
